The second was a ‘Push Against Child Abuse’ in which Damien and supporters pushed a 2 tonne Ute from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta.

The third challenge was a ‘Paddle Against Child Abuse’ in which Damien and a group of supporters paddled from Coolangatta to Currumbin.

There were also 2 community events. A free open air cinema screening of the movie ‘Heart of the Sea’, a documentary of Damien Riders 800km unassisted paddle from the Gold Coast to Sydney. Secondly a free stand-up paddle session at Currumbin Boatshed.
